Don’t miss this opportunity for a great day of free workshops, vendor booths, food and prize drawings!  This recognition of World Elder Abuse Awareness Day is designed tfor Senior Adults to learn about financial miscues, scams and frauds that may part you from your hard-earned money and assets.

This event is presented by the American Elder Abuse Conference (AEAC), your local non-profit that provides training and information to professionals and the public about the many different ways Senior Adults are victimized.  Workshops will feature presentations by experts in the field of exploitation and fraud, and you will have the opportunity to ask questions of each presenter.  Elder law attorney Ronda Gabb will discuss vital legal issues to help you protect your interests, including powers of attorney and medical directives, and a US Postal Inspector will present information about frauds that occur through the mail and internet, including lottery scams.

AEAC will provide a light breakfast snack and a filling lunch.  During the lunch break sponsors and exhibitors from the American Elder Abuse Conference as well as other organizations of interest will welcome you to their tables to learn about their companies and their commitment to your personal security and safety.
